Sheer, slashes, and slits-oh my!
Last night, the biggest names in fashion, film, and entertainment gathered at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to show off their stellar style on the red carpet at the annual Art + Film Gala. The star-studded fundraiser—which raised a record-breaking $6.4 million—honored artist Simone Leigh and filmmaker Baz Luhrmann and was hosted by co-chairs Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio.
As for the fashion, Gucci once again served as the presenting partner of the glamorous event, allowing the brand’s creative director Sabato De Sarno to debut his newest designs and runway creations on celebrities—including Kim Kardashian, Laura Dern, Eiza González, and Charli XCX, who put on special performance alongside her Sweat tour mate Troye Sivan.
And while the evening’s dress code might have been black tie, several stars left the rules on attire up to interpretation and stepped out in a parade of barely-there looks for the occasion. From Blake Lively’s chainmail minidress with dozens of tiny cutouts to Emily Ratajkowski’s completely backless velvet gown, it’s clear that not everyone played by the traditional fashion rules.
Ahead, see the most nakedest red carpet looks from the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala.
