Back in 2021, she wore a strapless black Rick Owens dress with an extreme plunging neckline to Paris Hilton’s nuptials to Carter Reum, and just last year, she attended her former assistant Stephanie Shepherd’s wedding in a bandeau bralette with matching underwear and a velvet cutout skirt. Fast forward to present day, and Kardashian is back to pushing the boundaries with her wedding wardrobe.
On Friday, the reality star attended the lavish four-day wedding of Indian billionaire Anand Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai alongside her younger sister, Khloé. For the elaborate affair, Kim brought the glam in a bright red lehenga that consisted of a tiny tassel bra, a matching beaded scarf, and floor-length skirt. She accessorized with layered diamond necklaces from Lorraine Schwartz and a coordinating diamond headpiece that separated her long, brunette waves and rested on her forehead.
While the SKIMs founder's outfit appeared to be tame in comparison to her past wedding looks, it actually broke traditional Hindu etiquette, as red is usually reserved for the bride to wear on her wedding day.
Khloé, meanwhile, played it safe in a gold-and-white lehenga with long sleeves and intricate embroidery and beadwork. She, too, wore her hair down in loose curls with a gold hairpiece that matched her statement choker necklace by Indian designer Manish Malhorta.
