Consider the naked dress trend revamped.
Make way, make way, because Emma Corrin is coming through. And they’re here to show everyone how to do method dressing correctly. Just as the dress-up-like-the-movie-you’re-promoting schtick was getting seriously stale, Corrin has swooped in to breathe new life into the phenomenon and revamp the naked dress trend.
The English actor has been stepping out to promote their new horror drama Nosferatu, a gothic tale about a Transylvanian vampire who stalks a haunted young woman in 19th-century Germany. As fans anxiously await its Christmas Day-release, Corrin is serving up look after look—each somehow better than the last.
Today, The Crown star graced the red carpet at the film’s London premiere in a butter-yellow McQueen ensemble that would stop Dracula in his tracks. The powder-yellow masterpiece was completely sheer except for its cap sleeves, revealing Corrin’s matching cheeky underwear and completely freeing their nipples. The gown featured a high turtleneck, draping swaths of fabric throughout, and a floor-grazing skirt. Its Victorian-inspired elements recalled the nightgowns Corrin and co-star Lily-Rose Depp wear in the movie.
The Deadpool & Wolverine star let the dress do most of the talking, pairing it simply with strappy black heels, diamond drop earrings, and a diamond ring. As for beauty, the star showed off their striking black pixie cut with microbangs and slightly longer side pieces, and glammed up with dewy makeup, shimmery eyeshadow, and a vampy berry-pink lip.
Corrin posed for some pictures alongside Depp, whose own ensemble had a Victorian flair. She wore a shiny gray co-ord, composed of a flouncy, two-tiered maxi skirt and a blazer top that featured dramatic, oversize lapels, three-quarter sleeves, and a fitted construction. Depp accented the look with satin black pumps, diamond earrings, and layers of gold necklaces adorned with different jewels.
Corrin has been using the Nosferatu press tour to reimagine sheer dressing. Earlier this week, they stepped out at the world premiere of the movie in an electric multi-colored, see-through minidress pulled straight from Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2025 collection. The base of the piece was an itty-bitty, glittery green, long-sleeve dress that once again freed the nipple and Corrin's high-waisted underwear. It featured a bright-blue floral lace turtleneck and matching fanciful cuffs, along with a hot-pink lace hem. They paired the show-stopper with sheer black tights and black slingbacks with a gilded pointed-toe design.
